It did take a time to set up mainly due to submitting certified documents. I get a daily account activity report so no problems that way.

Funding only can be done using wire transfer and high service charge by the london bank. No live helper on the website to answer urgent questions. I'm switching back to a US-based broker at the moment.

Status: approved by moderator Rating: Date: 12/30/2008 8:10 PM Reviewer: tosh Location: Kenya Comments: Be very careful before you open a live account with this broker.If you have traded a live account then you know that your broker will send you your statement of account on a daily basis or on a regular basis especially when you open and close trades.The last time I opened a real account with Alpari UK they sent my statement of account after a period of more than 5 weeks and you won't believe what it said;"No transactions" can you believe this!!!!!!!!!!!!!.This was actually after I had funded my account put in a few trades here and there and all this information was not reflected in my statement of accounts.For heavens sake where did my trades disappear to?I even wondered why they even bothered to send me a blank false statement.This brokerage company is a joke and they will play around with your money.

While using this platform, I experiencd problems with Meta Trader, especially during the periods of high market volatility when it was really difficult to put the order through. I had troubles getting the updated price and often I would just get a message that the connection with the server could not be established. That was my main reason for terminating my relationship with this particular broker.

They are offerring 10% deposit bonus to new accounts till january 10,2009, but i would suggest not to be misled by their demo. There is a vast difference between their demo and LIVE spreads. Dont believe me? Just open a live account, and check out the live environment before funding.
