Hi MJ,
Maybe a week ago when I saw ranking table I said to myself - there won't be enough traders for all prizes even on the end of month. And next month will be even worse because of next 3 winners who can't participate...
a/ I agree anybody should have a chance to win even on a contest, but for sure not with result lower than initial capital : Maybe winners can participate with just one month of pause;
b/ Prizes are not attractive enough:
b1/ Part from i-Trade: Look at 24fx contest - no need to fund any capital to claim prizes of $2500/$1500/$1000; Means - excellent, very attractive prizes with no question of broker reputation. Probably you can't agree better conditions with i-Trade because they are scammers and they want to collect traders money but beside 100 of other brokers you can find some better company for sure;
b2/ Part from Razor: I know you have no direct benefit giving money away. But if you'll stay with i-Trade you need to double your part of awards at least if you want to see more fresh traders in your contest. Because nobody claim prizes from i-Trade. Also, prizes of $20 or $75 are not some kind of prizes, sorry. Especially because of wire transfer fee - PayPal is useful just for few countries, so most traders from around the world can't claim these rewards. So, why they should join to your contest? In that case is better to have maybe just 3 prizes but much bigger.
c/ Maybe contestants can join to contest whenever through the month. Late traders are more aggressive and that will give a life to other contestants too. And Razor will receive more fresh traders. Because waiting on next month contest is boring and many traders are loosing interests.
I don't want to be smart - I just want to make your contest much more attractive for both sides. And I'll be very glad if my thoughts could be of any help .
Keep a good job!
Hi Carlo, Thanks for your feedback. As always, we consider all suggestions and will notify all members of any changes we make to the contests. mj |

Why dont you move onto a different broker ? The requirement of depositing 2000 dollars is too much, especially after reading all the negative reviews about the broker. Further, their system is not very user friendly. Apart from that, maybe the initial balance can be changed from 10000 to 50000, with the drawdown limit being 15% of account equity that is 42500 on an initial equity of 50000. This would be more useful because with itradefx one can place orders of 0.01, .02, .03, .04, .05 & then straight 1 lot onwards. This means you have no choice of trade size in between or 10 orders of 0.05 to achieve a .5 lot position. Thats just very irritating & difficult to manage. And with lot size of 1 lot, its very difficult to keep losses under control as 10 pips means 100 dollar move. You loose 150 pips & thats it, your out of the game. So better with a 50k account as then the losses will be much easier to manage. Nothing else changes.

One more thing - can you enable something of a live scorecard? Anyone can then see the live scores and know their position vis-a-vis others. Also, if you are not agreeable to starting the account from 50k instead of 10k, maybe you can relax the drawdown limit from 15% to 30-35%. |

Hi Piyush, You can trade any lot you wish - just type it in the window. $50K is not useful for real trading: 50% of all deposits are under $5,000. By my opinion DD of 15% is ok: If you want to be consistent (permanently successful trader) you can't loose more than 15% of balance. I should even expand this DD rule: No matter what is your balance you can't loose more than 15% of account daily through the whole contest. That's the way you can trade for living. |

But some kind of live scoreboard should be very useful and attractive thing, I agree. It would help to more aggressive and competitive trading. |

Ok, i get it. I just mentioned 50k on a demo account cause I am used to 50k demo accounts at other brokers (FXCM) & cause of the lot size issue, which ofcourse is now resolved. Thanks |
