Hi,

The contest has started (and I have made trades already) but there are no rules available!

Hypothetically speaking - What happens if a rule is broken before it is announced?

Hi Sailendra, did you get an email from ITrade giving you your username and password for the demo account after you registered?

Thanks :)

I don't understand why you have this rule, but no matter.

Is it going to be enforced at regular intervals or only at the end of the contest?

cheers

Shane,

It will only be enforced at the end of the contest if you are one of the six winners.  I am sure it does seem peculiar but there is a very good reason for this rule.  If you want to know more pm me.

Happy Trading!

Hi,
I received the mail fromITrade and got username and password for the demo and I would like to get into the competition but... what I have to put into the window related to account size? I do not find info on this in the rules. One more: the mail from ITrade came days ago and states that the demo last 30 days... since I receive the mail or starting together with the contest?

Thanks for explaining

I never received a username and password for the November contest?  How do I obtain this information?

Also, when will the prize money for October's contest be awarded?

Thanks.

Please confirm. Is the MT4 being used in the trading contest build 217? I am using Vista Ultimate 64-bit and it keeps on crashing. Does anyone have the latest build 218?

It took me some time to get used to the platform.

I am still getting used to trading.  Just learned what different types of orders mean.

I do not think I have a chance to win the contest.  Anyway, it is fun to learn on fake money.

You are registered in the Nov contest. Check your junk email folder, as your username and password email may be there. Also, I will have iTradeFx resend the info. Winners of the Oct contest will receive an email shortly with award information.

Unfortunately, there are some problems with the contest software running on Vista. If you call iTradeFx support at 1-800-842-6061, they will work with you to resolve the issue. If you continue to have a problem, notify us at support@forexrazor.com.

Though the i-Trade Fx MT4 demo account and contest both use the same software, they do not have the same username (ie, account#) and password. You must register separately for each. You are registered for the Nov contest and you should have received an email from iTradeFx with your username and password.

For the contest, you do not have to put anything in the "Account Size" window; in fact, you may bypass entering all the information asked for by clicking "Cancel" at the bottom of the entry window.

All the November contest accounts were reset to $10,000 when the contest began. The software will not expire until after the contest ends.

Is this really a demo account? Coz I am used to seeing Demo Account on MT4s. But the one being used for the contest does not say it.

One of the contest rules states that you may not have a drawndown in excess of 15%, and you exceded that.
